Our Unmanned Survey Vessel, Deep Lorean, completed a pivotal project in South America, showing our commitment to a sustainable blue economy and marine climate adaptation.
Covering a large yet shallow area with substantial sedimentation, the survey demanded meticulous planning. Our vessel, equipped with an onboard Multibeam Echo Sounder system, seamlessly integrated with advanced Unmanned Survey Vessel (USV) and survey operating systems. This integration allowed for precise surveys, featuring "on-the-fly" line plan adaptation.
Additionally, sub-bottom profiling was carried out.
With over 150 days of operations, combining high-tech equipment with a skilled, professional global team we gained invaluable insights into the future of unmanned surveying and supporting the pipelaying installations in the shallow sections.
